Congratulations! You've taken the first step towards a lifetime of adventure. But before you start, you'll need to choose a PADI Dive Center or Resort. There are many options, however, it's recommended that you look for a nearby dive center or resort. This is important because your local PADI Dive Center or Resort will be the hub of your new dive lifestyle.
By visiting your dive center or resort, you'll acquire the equipment you need for the course, complete your in water training, learn about local diving, discover dive travel and meet others who share your interest in scuba diving.
The experienced staff and PADI Instructors at your local PADI Dive Center or Resort are ready to welcome you and help you explore the underwater world by:
- Providing you with a flexible schedule to earn your dive certification.
- Fitting you with the dive equipment you need for your confined and open water dives. They'll also make sure you have the gear you need to enjoy diving after certification.
- Orienting you to local dive sites and dive adventures, plus introducing you to dive travel opportunities around the world.
- Helping you continue the adventure while gaining new skills and experiences with programs like the PADI Digital Underwater Photography course, PADI Wreck Diver course or elite PADI Master Scuba Diver program.
- Connecting you to the aquatic environment and teaching you how to preserve it through Project AWARE (Aquatic World Awareness, Responsibility and Education).
